Seriously annoyed by one of my youngest sister’s friend.
Okay. You come by our house a few times to play, we don’t mind. A few times, it’s okay cos well…. you’re my sister’s friends and it’s not like us to chase guests away.
BUT… When you come by almost EVERY week with only the intention of playing…. Now, that is overstaying your invite!
We don’t mind, yes. Thing is, right now, our house is in a complete mess with the renovation going on in the kitchen. We have no time to attend to guests/friends/strangers/whoever.
And when you come by, I get seriously annoyed cos you come without any prior warning.
See, during lunch time; in my head, all I know is my dad and my sister would come home for lunch. So, I’ll only prepare enough for the 3 of us, no more no less. But when you come, you only create trouble for either me or my dad cos either I have to cook again (which I don’t like cos I’m not good at cooking) or my dad has to go out and buy extra lunch for you (like he did today).
And another thing; you only come by to PLAY. What’s wrong with you? Do you know no shame when you come to people’s house only to use their computer or play with their game consoles? If you come by for a while or once in a while, then that’s fine. But if you come by almost every week and stay from lunch til evening; that’s imposing.
I’m not as patient as my parents (when it comes to guests), so I get annoyed when you overstay your welcome.
