But…. It’s true…
I’m near sighted… And to make that worst, my hearing ain’t as good as it was before thanks to the hours/days/months/years spent using head/earphones.
So, if I walk pass you when you call me, or if you’re 3-4 meters in front of me; walking towards me, and I don’t notice you until you’re a meter away, or you’re in the car next to me or opposite me and I don’t wave at you when you’re frantically waving at me………… It’s not that I’m being a stuck-up and rude…
I honestly didn’t see you there, nor did I hear you. Seriously. SERIOUSLY.
Don’t believe me? I own a pair of glasses. I do. I just don’t make it a habit to wear them every where I go. Too much of a hassle to put them on cos I’ve been ‘naked eyed’ (HARHAR! Direct translation!) most of my life…. I’m not used to wearing them even if it’s just for the 5 minutes I need them to see something on the presentation slide 5 meters in front of me.
